Junior Accountant- Entry Level

**We are looking for a fresh graduate that is looking to start a professional career in accounting!****Position Summary**:In this position you will assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes, prepare and post journal entries, as well as supporting FP&A team with reporting.**Essential position Functions**:- Work within both the finance and accounting departments gathering and distributing materials.- File maintenance, data cleaning and transformations- Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations- Prepare and enter monthly journal entries: such as prepaid schedules, deferred rent, and accruals.- Answering tax notices - received in paper form via mail, Filing, Scanning- Assist in the financial reporting process as needed: including collection of supporting financial data, tie-out- Perform a variety of other routine and/or non-routine functions and ad-hoc projects as assigned**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS**:- High level of expertise in Microsoft Office Excel is required- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Knowledge of accounting functions such as capitalization, depreciation, accrual and prepaid**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or 1+ years' experience in accounting/financeTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoPuede trasladarse/mudarse:- 97070, Mérida, Yuc.: Trasladarse al trabajo sin problemas o planear mudarse antes de comenzar a trabajar (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Una ubicación
