**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Some of your responsibilities as a Junior Buyer will consist in:
- Support to the introduction of new products and suppliers
- Implement and manage the replenishment process.
- Maintain updated SAP parameters of their part numbers.
- Validate MRP outputs and process MRP recommendations.
- Process purchase orders and requisitions, and expedite orders as required.
- Secure continuity of supply: review supplier commits, identify shortages, summarize and report to management suppliers with supply risks.
- Return of material to supplier as RMA or RWK and follow up the return to IBM.
- Follow up on material receptions and the guidelines for import and export. Work with the external commerce team to solve any situation regarding lost material or delays.
- Follow up the invoice reception to pay suppliers on time.
- Support to FRUs requirements.
- Compliance to Internal and External Audit requirements.
- Compliance with the department metrics.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Ability to perform basic administrative skills on a variety of functionally specific tasks in a diverse complex environment
- Able to perform data entry, filing, tracking, distribution, report creation, basic problem resolution, data analysis, and reconciliation
- Microsoft Office Suite and SAP basic knowledge
- Must have effective communication skills both in Spanish and English, negotiation skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 1 year of experience in Supply Chain Roles
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance or similar
