As a Junior Coatings Formulator, you will manage the development and adaptation of new technologies, supporting production and quality of the products in the customer's lines.You will report to the head of laboratory.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow up on scale-ups and production batches.Formula maintenance.Product evaluation.Electrostatic application of product.Work as a team with production and quality to ensure the good performance of the technologies.Evaluate raw materials for manufacturing cost efficiencies.Identify improvements and changes to adapt formulas to the regional market.Production support.Provide results of the projects in which you collaborate, ensuring that the goals are met within the established deadlines.Learn and demonstrate the use of coatings terminology, standard operating procedures and equipment related to individual jobs/projects. Seek knowledge of new technologies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.Intermediate English.2+ years of experience in water-based and solvent-based liquid painting techniques.Handle paint evaluation laboratory equipment (viscometers, mechanical stirrers, dispersers, potentiometer, spectrophotometer, tensiometer, weathering) and chemicals.This job posting may have multiple locations listed.
