The role is focused on providing DSV Road North America support by providing company insights through data collection, data entry, and supporting the development of visualization dashboards. This position will be in Mexico but will work with the North American Business Change Management Team based out of Dallas, TX.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Design, create, and monitor ongoing results from solutions that are implemented via data visualization tools (Power BI)
- Ability to work effectively, meet deadlines, and shift priorities appropriately in a fast-paced dynamic work environment with great attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English fluency required)
- Support with ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.
- Assess scope of work and delivery method for any ad-hoc reports.
- Perform data mining, data joining, and data blending
- Provide effective and meaningful feedback to requestors if a request requires additional information, is declined, or requires other action.
- Understand, organize, and manage all work requests in respect to their maturity, percent complete and deliverable date.
- Perform analysis on various data types to identify trends and patterns.
- Actively share important information and with team members and colleagues
- Adhere to both DSV and department standards set forward.
- Perform other duties as required/assigned.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum**
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Customer Service
- Written and verbal communication
**Preferred**
- A minimum of 1 year working in an IT organization with proven results in:
Experienced with data structure and visualization in a BI tool (i.e. Tableau, Power BI (preferred), Google Analytics, etc.)
- SQL/PLSQL experience
- Script building
**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES**
**Computer Skills**
- Experienced with building data structures and visualization in Power BI.
- Intermediate experience with SQL/PLSQL for querying large datasets.
- Experience with Python (or similar scripting language) is strongly preferred, but not required.
**Language Skills**
- English (reading, writing, and verbal).
**Mathematical Skills**
- Beginner to Intermediate
**Other Skills**
- Advanced proficiency data visualization in Power BI and SQL
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, and analytical skills
- Ability to forge strong working relations with every level in the organization, including all internal and external customers.
- Must be analytical, process focused, and results oriented.
- Structured and able to work against deadlines.
