Site Scan for ArcGIS - Junior Software Test Automation EngineerOverviewJoin the Site Scan for ArcGIS team in Tijuana, Mexico to help us deliver the latest in end-to-end cloud-based drone mapping software designed to revolutionize imagery collection, processing, and analysis.In this role, you will be at the heart of Site Scan for ArcGIS's manual and automation test processes, developing manual tests and test automation for our product team. You will have the opportunity to help build and maintain a testing framework for web and mobile platforms to replace manual tests with automated testing. You will be part of a fast-paced innovative team and will have opportunities to bring in new ideas in the areas of testing and automation.**Responsibilities**:Note: This role does not entail flying drones nor working directly with drones. Developing automation code to test Site Scan for ArcGIS is the main responsibility of this role.- Engineer manual and automated test cases and test runs for testing Site Scan for ArcGIS that will cover all types of software testing including functional, system, and UI/UX.- Triage and maintain manual and automated test cases for each release cycle.- Maintain testing documentation and traceability between test cases and product requirements.- Upkeep Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery jobs.- Communicate with development and product teams for bug reporting, improvement recommendations, and automation testing implementation.- Aid in system testing of Site Scan for ArcGIS.**Requirements**:- Recent graduates encouraged to apply!- Excellent written and spoken English.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented.- Unshakable belief in high quality software releases.- Comfortable working in a results only work environment (ROWE).- Experience writing and executing test suites and test cases or strong willingness to learn.- 0 - 2 years of software automation experience using test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and Selenium and/or Appium.- Understanding of continuous integration and version control tools such as Jenkins, Docker and Git.- Comfortable with C/C++, JavaScript and/or Python.- Familiar with project management tools such as GitHub or ZenHub.- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Recommended Qualifications- Understanding of the Agile software development life cycle.- Experience with test case management tools.- ISTQB Foundations certified tester.- Previous work with UAVs.- UAV piloting experience.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por periodo de pruebaDuración del contrato: 3 mesesSalario: Hasta $27,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Obligatorio)Idioma:- ingles (Obligatorio)
