Junior Software Test Engineer Overview

Engineer and maintain manual test cases for testing Site Scan for ArcGIS that will cover all types of software testing including functional, system, and UI/UX.- Triage and maintain manual test cases for each release cycle.- Track defects using relevant tools, provide defect statistics and reports.- Create and maintain documentation for testing processes.- Establish and maintain traceability between test cases and Product requirements.- Communicate with Development and Product teams for bug reporting and improvement recommendations.- Aid in system testing of Site Scan for ArcGIS.
Requirements- Advanced written and spoken English.- Excellent communication, documentation and teamwork skills.- Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented.- Unshakable belief in high quality software releases.- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Recommended Qualifications- Understanding of the Agile software development life cycle.- Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin.- Experience writing and executing test suites and test cases.- Experience with test case management tools.- Familiar with project management tools such as GitHub or ZenHub.- Understanding of continuous integration and version control tools such as Jenkins and Git.- ISTQB Foundations certified tester.- Previous work with UAVs.
**Salary**: Up to $27,000.00 per monthWork Location: Hybrid remote in Tijuana, B.C.
