Junior Software Test Engineer Overview

Engineer and maintain manual test cases for testing Site Scan for ArcGIS that will cover all types of software testing including functional, system, and UI/UX.
- Triage and maintain manual test cases for each release cycle.
- Track defects using relevant tools, provide defect statistics and reports.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing processes.
- Establish and maintain traceability between test cases and Product requirements.
- Communicate with Development and Product teams for bug reporting and improvement recommendations.
- Aid in system testing of Site Scan for ArcGIS.
Requirements
- Advanced written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication, documentation and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented.
- Unshakable belief in high quality software releases.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Recommended Qualifications
- Understanding of the Agile software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin.
- Experience writing and executing test suites and test cases.
- Experience with test case management tools.
- Familiar with project management tools such as GitHub or ZenHub.
- Understanding of continuous integration and version control tools such as Jenkins and Git.
- ISTQB Foundations certified tester.
- Previous work with UAVs.
**Salary**: Up to $27,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tijuana, B.C.
