Job Title:Junior Strategic BuyerPosition PurposeExecute non merch Procurement activities:- Procurement of non-merch product and services.- Sourcing activities (Supplier development, RFQ/RFPs, bids, reverse auctions, price and terms negotiation).- Vendor management (periodic audits, performance evaluation).- Partners with Compliance and Legal department to ensure indirect suppliers are in full compliance (NDA, FCPA, AML, etc.)
and Legal (contract, vendor agreement, etc.
).Primary Accountabilities- Lead the set up of store biddings in the system, negotiate and fill all cost proposal in the summary form to evaluate the best cost for the project.- Conduct sourcing strategies such as RFPs, RFQs or reverse auctions for non-merch category.- Negotiate contract terms with suppliers the prices reduction to meet the savings objectives in the annual purchasing plan and inflation (PEI).- Take the lead for Contract Administration for the MX contracts.
Duties will include CIRA management process, reminders, following up with business owners, ensuring CIRAS are filed correctly.- Implement information metrics, key process indicators, spend analysis, reports, etc.
to provide superior decision capabilities within Procurement USA and MX.
Preparing monthly, periodically, or yearly financial reports and records for a specific business unit / area, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
Compiling information for business reviews.Education & ExperienceLevel of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Administration, Business, EngineeringYears of Experience: One to two years.Type of Experience: Identification, Development, Negoatiation, Evaluation of suppliers.Special Certifications or Technical Skills: English proficiency is a must,Proficient in both written and spoken English.
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoing) is a must.
Experience running procurement process on an ERP environment is a must (Oracel,People Soft or SAP ARIBA).Other / Preferred: Excellent negotiation skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Knowledge of industry best practices to continually enhance and improve contracting.
