Located in our (XXX) office, you will be part of an internal agency that will take Gates content and creative to the next level, delivering out-of-the-box, game-changing assets like company brand films, customer story films, product demo videos, instructional videos, video advertisements, and more.Send us your resume and a demo reel demonstrating strong video shooting and editing capabilities to be considered.**Key responsibilities**:- Work closely with the Senior Video Editor to achieve the best optimal outcome- Work as a video editor to produce high-quality final products- Splice raw film footage together from various sources and shoots, and combine it with other scenes to create a cohesive story that meets the narrative agenda- Combine visual footage with audio sound effects, dialogue, ambient sound, and a musical soundtrack to create more drama in the story- Use computer editing software programs, video switching devices, digital video effects programs and other tools to piece together film components- Ensure all editing cuts, splices, changes and additions appear seamless and natural and help the story flow more effectively in the finished product- Create sound effects by recording specific audio clips or choose audio effects from a database of sounds to include in the final film- Work as a shooter with various cameras from DSLR to Pro- Design basic motion graphics/ lower thirds/ animations for illustrating ideas- Work with internal requesters to understand their video needs and execute- Work multiple video projects and deliver against deadlines- Work with the Senior Video Editor to Maintain a video library of b-roll and multimedia assets**ABOUT YOU**- 2 to 4 years of experience filming and editing video for global brands.- Bachelor's degree in film, video production or communications or equivalent.- Fluent spoken and written English- Proficiency with the full Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro- Knowledge of interviewing/green screen lighting techniques and all aspects of post-production- Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence to explain and sell ideas to colleagues.- Ability and conviction to defend your creative approach while exhibiting an openness to feedback and willingness to make changes.- Ensures output meets the agreed-upon plan from both a creative and a strategic messaging standpoint, as well as being informed by current brand guidelines
