WHAT WE OFFER
Major Tasks & responsibilities:
- Delivers the committed sales volume and revenue for the assigned customer base, including designing and negotiating the necessary supply contracts with customers.- Coordinates and aligns with TUR Manager for price negotiations to effectively maximize our value in the short and long term.- Establishes and deepens relationships with decision makers at all levels of customer organizations to uncover unmet needs and enhance Covestro's competitive advantage.- Manages customer relationships and settles issues including those are linked to: Forecasting
- to provide accurate demand forecasts for products and customers, and to recommend appropriate inventory levels to support the need of the business Communications - to ensure complete and accurate communications of customers, market and competitive activities to peers and management.- Develops and implements short/long term strategic plans for assigned customer base and for potential new customers to optimize Covestro's market share and profitability.- Identifies and develops plans to capitalize on new business growth opportunities including strong awareness of competitive environment.- Obtaining management approvals and/or keeps management informed on issues relating to pricing, supply, resolution of challenges and other relevant items.- Managed a yearly accountability of at least $15MM USD with key accounts in the region assigned.
Value Added:
- Manage regional automotive accounts and other specialties customers. Strong management is needed to ensure profitability targets and ensure sustainable growth with assigned customer base.- Develop new relationships on the upcoming growth on the automotive business in Mexico and identify new opportunities on the Composites and Diversify industries.- Support the regional team with regional customers with operations in Mexico.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in engineering/chemistry/marketing discipline.
3-5 years of experience in B2B Sales for chemical industry
English & Spanish proficiency
Ability to travel (including ex-NAFTA) and work extended hours, when necessary
Computer skills e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP/Business Warehouse.
