Managing Director Summary: The Managing Director is responsible for overseeing all the activities of the Company in the country. He is the driving force behind future developments and is an accessible, present leader with strong operational skills, always aiming for achieving the best. He is the Legal Representative of the Company in the country.
Requirements: Academic background: preferable engineering or scientific with a business administration degree. 10+ years of work experience in an ultimately responsible role within an international production company, preferably in the packaging industry, with knowledge of plastic injection processes. Experience in international manufacturing companies in the automotive industry is also desirable. Strong technical background and experience in guiding innovations. Experience in managing a P&L. Strong understanding and translation of financial key figures. Experience with acquisitions, both at Due Diligence and integration phases is a plus, but not strictly necessary. Potential to grow in role to cover all operations in the Americas. Main responsibilities: Ensure the implementation and development of a world-class Safety Culture leading to zero accidents. Ensure full compliance with all Company Policies, including EHS, Social Responsibility, Legal, and Accounting. Accountable for managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving business growth, and achieving financial targets. Determine and deploy the strategy for the entity, within the Group strategy, under the direction of the Head of the Business Unit and in consultation with the rest of the Executive Management Team (EMT) of the Company. Translate the strategy into goals, business plans, and budgets together with the Head of the Business Unit. Support the integration of acquisitions within the company, as requested. Develop, communicate, and implement a full potential roadmap for the operational performance of the Company site. Initiate, stimulate, organise, and manage Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement projects. Achieve financial and operating performance targets as agreed through Annual Budgets, Multi-year Plans, and other short-term Plans. Integrate an all-inclusive Leadership Team and contribute decisively to develop a Culture and Ownership model based on innovation, cooperation, flexibility, ambition, and a customer-centric organization. Work closely with the Local and International Sales and Innovation & Development teams and ensure full integration within the matrix organisation of the Group. Implement all reporting required for the proper understanding and follow-up of the business in full compliance with the Group Policies and schedules. Represent the Company in all relevant Legal, Tax, and Public Relations areas, following Company Policies and requirements and caring for the reputation and interests of the company. We Offer:
