The position
As a Key Account Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the complexities, political environment, and opportunities associated with the decision-making matrix within each government account.Translate the opportunities, key decision drivers, and unmet needs of payers to cross-functional teams at Novo Nordisk to ensure a tailored value proposition for each key account.Build trusted and strategic relationships with payers/providers to anticipate access barriers and align with their agendas, plans, and objectives.Identify opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to engage in "win-win" partnerships with key accounts to positively influence contracting and tendering opportunities for product access.Identify new business opportunities for strategic brands within the segment and develop action plans for their development.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
University degree, preferably in a quantitative/management discipline; desirable to have a postgraduate degree in strategic planning, marketing, or pharmacoeconomics (not mandatory).3-5+ years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, managing government accounts such as IMSS or ISSSTE.Strong ability to translate strategies into actionable key account engagement plans.Experience in leading, motivating, and coordinating cross-functional teams.Proven track record in negotiating, closing, and signing deals with key accounts and complex customer networks; solid knowledge of payer/provider mindset and motivation in the relevant local context.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.About the department
