.Mighty Buildings is a construction technology company with offices in Oakland, and Monterrey.We are disrupting the construction industry by creating beautiful, sustainable, and high-quality homes using 3D printing, advanced materials, and robotics automation.We've raised Series B funding and are backed by top investors like Khosla Ventures, Zeno Ventures, and Y-Combinator.We are looking for a Lab technician who will work in an innovative and actively developing environment and will act as a part of a growing Quality team.**Responsibilities**:- Perform daily evaluation and approval of finished products, raw materials, and intermediates.- Work as a team with other technicians to ensure timely reporting of results.- Report and record all results in a timely manner. Maintain proper databases and generate appropriate statistical analyses via the use of computers.- Communicate effectively to all supervisors, co-workers, and plant personnel.- Perform all tests timely, accurately, and responsibly by signing all conforming reports and alerting plant managers and QA management of non-conformances.- Offer ideas and plans for improvement and point out deficiencies in the laboratory, especially in the areas of specifications and procedures- Maintain a working inventory of all laboratory supplies and chemicals- Accurately calibrate, control, and maintain lab instruments.- Provide timely results of non-routine samples- May perform other projects or assignments as required.- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.- Will interpret and correlate laboratory results into report form and notify appropriate personnel in cases of discrepancy- Assist Manufacturing Supervisor and other plant personnel on a daily basis to ensure product quality and shipping schedules- QC Technician will be expected to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to perform all test procedures used in the lab- May be required to assist in other areas to technically support manufacturing operations and related activities- Must follow environmental, safety, and first- Keep Accurate and Retrievable Records of Material Analyzed in the QC Lab- Ensure that results are available when needed for processing or shipment.- Provide Analytical Support for Laboratory Instrumentation- Positively implement company policies, demonstrate good work ethics.- _**Requirements**- College graduate (mechanical engineering, standardization and metrology); - Skills in quality control in production; - Previous experience ina manufacturing environment- English - Advanced**Nice-to-Haves**:- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Material Sciences or a related science is preferred- Additional Skills are preferred: Chemistry, viscosity, adhesion- Ability to work in a team environment.- 3+ years hand-on experiences in a laboratory environment- Experience in Lean manufacturing is desirable (5S, Poka-yoke, embedded quality, VSM, 6-sigma); **Please, submit your CVin English
