Sets up test apparatus.- Conducts physical tests related to material certification, DVP&R and other product relatedtesting according to SAE, ASTM, Automotive OEM, etc. test procedures using sophisticatedLab testing equipment per laboratory/customer test procedures/specifications, such as:- Flammability, Density, Thickness, Odor, Tensile/Peel/Tear Strength, Compression Set,Moisture Absorption, Heat Resistance, Fogging, Resistance to Mildew- Specific Gravity, Adhesion, Durometer, Flash Point, Shrinkage,- Dimensional Stability, including coordinate measuring system, CMM- Writes reports explaining testing results.- Orders supplies used in testing, including chemicals and containers.- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on testing equipment.- Follow established laboratory operating procedures and ensure compliance to ISO 17025,IATF 16949 and Autoneum Quality System.- Document test setup and save test results electronically.- Other assigned dutiesadd list elements hereYour qualificationsEducation/Experience:Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with studies in anengineering discipline. Minimum 3 years of physical testing experience.Language Ability:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, test procedures, customer specifications. Ability towrite reports to communicate technical data. Ability to effectively present technical informationto other employees of the organization. English proficiency: Intermediate B1Math Ability:Basic math skills, including the ability to read precise measurements required.Reasoning Ability:Logical conclusions when data is difficult to measure.Computer Skills:MS Word and Excel, Ability to use formula in Excel, Internet, E-mailPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use handsto finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
