.As the Manager, Label Management, your role is crucial in ensuring our clients' label releases are launched effectively in the market. You will keep our clients up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the music industry, including best practices and retail strategies. Owning and maintaining solid relationships with our clients and their team is essential to achieving our objectives.What You'll Do:Serve as the primary point of contact at The Orchard, maintaining positive and productive relationships with artists, management, agents, and industry contacts of varying sizes and genres. Provide advice and assistance on all aspects of music distribution to ensure their success.Provide guidance and support to labels on digital release best practices and metadata requirements. Oversee approvals and updates of digital releases.Collaborate with labels and internal departments to help create, communicate, and execute new release and catalog development plans and strategies.Liaise with all internal departments, including finance, marketing, and legal, to meet all label business needs.Manage overall distribution release process from strategy to setup and coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and inventory management; may include physical distribution.Distribute critical assets to global retail and marketing teams to ensure all cross-functional stakeholders are appraised of our labels' efforts to support releases.Oversee the complete life-cycle of audio and video products from ingestion to delivery, including seeing releases from label submission via our Workstation portal through to delivery via our Admin backend.Collaborate with various teams at The Orchard to ensure our labels' audio and video catalogs are effectively delivered, claimed, and monetized.Drive label engagement utilizing internal marketing and data analytic tools to guide and support strategic decisions for marketing and sales goals. Continuously interpret data and propose solutions and optimization to labels and artists to ensure that the label remains competitive in the music industry.Attend artist shows after work hours as necessary.Perform a wide range of additional tasks per the label roster's evolving needs, including but not limited to, collaborating with the digital marketing and design team to deliver compelling release campaigns, creating and presenting comprehensive label business reviews, catalog ingestions, clearing claims, and managing rights conflicts.Who You Are:At least 3+ years of experience in music partnership management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.A strong passion for music and the music industry.Proven track record of success in managing labels.Extensive knowledge of the music industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.Strong business acumen and understanding of financial and budget management
