Scope Responsible for managing the labor relations at Timken Mexico Rodamientos (Orion and Sandy).
Compliance with labor regulations and company standards to ensure alignment with laws and Internal Policies, as well as effective, by coordinating and efficiently managing processes related to Union, labor relations, terminations, claims, labor compliance for unionized and Salary Employees and other aspects impacting workforce dynamics and employee well-being.
Responsibilities: Develop and review labor procedures and policies in collaboration with the union, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting positive and productive labor relations.
Perform internal audits of the Labor Relations department to verify the efficiency of our processes.
Validate the update of individual employee contract records, ensuring they are complete and compliant with applicable labor regulations.
Support the employment termination process, including document collection, conducting exit interviews, and coordinating administrative procedures related to the termination of employment.
Investigate and resolve labor disputes, collaborating with lawyers, management, and other departments as necessary to ensure the compliance with the law and an efficient dispute resolution.
Participate in follow-up meetings with the HR Generalist to assess progress in resolving labor disputes and develop strategies to improve the work environment and employee satisfaction.
Ensure the compliance with relevant legal and regulatory procedures, Labor Internal Regulation, ensuring proper adherence to the Federal Labor Law and other applicable regulations.
Educate and raise and guidance to employees on labor relations issues, Timken policies, and legal compliance.
Keep and analyze the employee database updated with accurate and relevant information, including demographic data and details related to terminations.
Collaborate on activities to comply with HR programs, Timken Wellness Program, and the Organizational Culture Program aimed at fostering a positive work climate and complying with the NOM's.
Manage and respond to employee complaints, suggestions, and requests related to General services, and other areas that impact the labor relations.
Coordinate and manage the attendance and absenteeism tracking process.
Analyze the information to propose a strategy to decrease the absenteeism.
Technical/Functional Skills: Fluent English Knowledge of the Labor Dispute Resolution Process Strong knowledge in Federal Labor Law Strong knowledge in Legal Regulations Soft Skills: Effective communication Leadership Conflict management Education / Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Administration, Business, Psychology, or similar field (certified).
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Labor Relations Analyst / HR Generalist in manufacturing industry.
