As LABORATORY HEAD, you will be responsible for Planning, Directing and Organizing technical activities leading to the development and adaptation of new products, providing technical support to Production and Quality Assurance, and providing information to Costing and Planning.
You will report to the Technical Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Produce formulas for manufacturing at Production level.
- Produce internal reports, to document results according to Quality standards.
- Attend functional tests to ensure that the products work according to the conditions of the Line.
- Solve in-process or out-of-specification product problems to reduce downtime and support time to customers.
- Support functional testing at the customer's line or in production.
- Participate in the launching of new products on Customer Lines and in the resolution of functionality problems on Line and during the manufacturing of Materials in Production.
- Perform activities related to the development and adaptation of new products, and the optimization of new developments and adjustments of existing formulas, adaptation of USA formulas with national raw material giving the same functionality and cost.
- You will elaborate programs, updates and reports of projects, special tests and indicators of the Area.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
- +4 years of experience in pretreatment and electrocoat.
- Knowledge in handling and substitution of pigments and raw material specifications, and formulation of multiple materials and paint manufacturing.
- Manage work teams.
- Advanced English.
