As a LABORATORY TECHNICIAN, you will be responsible for the supply and support of the production lines, as the pre-treatment and painting of parts in our coating services business, Metokote!Key Responsibilities- Supervise the lines of pre-treatment and painting to be able to make the vital adjustments in the equipment.- Validate at the beginning of the shift the calibration of the equipment and the initial loads of chemicals in the tanks, as well as monitor the pressures and levels in each of the stages to validate the quality of the service.- Manage cyclic inventories of chemicals and follow-up in system for missing requirements.- Supervise preventive maintenance activities of each line.- Efficient administrative follow up for documentation filling.**Qualifications**:- Technical career or degree in chemistry or related field.- Proven knowledge in pre-treatment and painting.- Proficient English.- This position mainly requires strong decision making skills, strong communication and efficiency in follow-up processes.ABOUT US:PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLDThe PPG WayEvery single day at PPG:We partner with customers to create mutual value.We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
