_**Profile**:_We are looking for an Engineer with skills in quality control in production. Previous experience in manufacturing environment and advanced English.- **Responsibilities**:_- Perform daily evaluation and approval of finished product, raw materials, and intermediates.- Work as a team with other technicians to ensure timely reporting of results.- Report and record all results in a timely manner. Maintain proper databases and generate appropriate statistical analyses via use of computers.- Communicate effectively to all supervisors, co-workers, and plant personnel.- Perform all tests timely, accurately, and responsibly by signing all conforming reports and alerting plant managers and QA management of non-conformances.- Offer ideas and plans for improvement and point out deficiencies in the laboratory especially in the areas of specifications and procedures.- Maintain a working inventory of all laboratory supplies and chemicals.- Accurately calibrate, control, and maintain lab instruments.- Provide timely results of non-routine samples.- May perform other projects or assignments as required.- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.- Will interpret and correlate laboratory results into report form and notify appropriate personnel in cases of discrepancy.- Assist Manufacturing Supervisor and other plant personnel on a daily basis to ensure product quality and shipping schedules.- QC Technician will be expected to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to perform all test procedures used in the lab.- May be required to assist in other areas to technically support manufacturing operations and related activities.- Keep Accurate and Retrievable Records of Material Analyzed in the QC Lab.- Ensure that results are available when needed for processing or shipment.- Provide Analytical Support for Laboratory Instrumentation.- Positively implement company policies, demonstrate good work ethics.- **Nice-to-haves**:_- An Associate's or bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Material Sciences or a related science is preferred- Additional Skills are preferred: chemistry, viscosity, adhesion- Ability to work in a team environment.- 3+ years hand-on experiences in a laboratory environment- Experience in Lean manufacturing is desirable (5S, Poka-yoke, embedded quality, VSM, 6-sigma).Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Caja de ahorro- Estacionamiento gratuito- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de vida- Vales de despensa
