Lead the development and implementation of the SCM strategy for the plant in Reynosa, Mexico to facilitate the cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers. This role is responsible for Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics, as well as minimizing purchasing costs without compromising quality and reliability of supply.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and control logistic supply chain and processes related to raw material replenishment and finished product within the PlantSupport production planning, purchasing, and logistic team, as well as Import-Export and CustomsManage material constraints status, set priorities, and manage escalationWork in close cooperation with Value Stream Managers to achieve delivery performance, inventories, and log costs objectivesLiaise with Sales organization on demand management and customer deliveryPerform material planning for suppliers and internal operational/production plansManage purchasing and forecasting activitiesAssure the flawless material supply to the productionMonitor and liaise with Global Procurement to ensure materials availabilityAssure special customer transport and delivery requirementsSchedule and execute the transportation according to the customer requirementsResponsible for Inventory management and Excess and Obsolete material eliminationDispatch/transport/packing cost minimizationSupport for the development and maintenance of new processes and intercompany SLA'sRealize on time, qualitative, and cost-efficient deliveries to customersContribute to the development of the organization's overall supply and logistics strategyEnsure performance improvement and recovery plans are developed, issued, tracked, and reported on as required for supply base management and improvementAnticipate potential problems and risks, and generate ideas, insight, and solutions to resolve potential problems, followed by decisive action to implement solutionsProvide technical expertise and advice to functional or operational areas managers to help them successfully deliverIdentify and implement strategies to improve SCM constantlyDevelop and build a culture of engagement at all levels of the business to provide a highly energized team which is flexible to meet the changing needs of the businessWork according to the I.M.S.
