.Language Training and Assessment EvaluatorAbout the job Language Training and Assessment EvaluatorJob Summary:As a Language Training and Assessment Evaluator, your role is to ensure the high-quality delivery of language training programs and secure acceptable rates of leveling accuracy by our Corporate Language Trainers. You will be responsible for assessing and improving the instructional methodologies used in delivering lessons and assessments. Your primary objective is to maintain and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of language training programs, ensuring they meet the established standards and client requirements. You will collaborate closely with Language Trainer Coaches providing feedback which they can use to guide their assigned trainers.Responsibilities:Quality Assessment: Observe language trainers during lessons to assess their instructional delivery, lesson plans, learner engagement, use of tools and teaching materials, and classroom management skills, to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. Check assessors leveling accuracy, provide written feedback, and recommend coaching sessions.Standards Development: Contribute in the development and maintenance of quality standards and guidelines for language training programs and assessments, ensuring they align with industry best practices, instructional design principles, and learner and client needs.Language Training Program Evaluation: Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning solutions by analyzing learner feedback, monitoring learner progress, and conducting observations or audits of learner programs. Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the assessment solutions by analyzing candidate and client feedback, and conducting audits of assessment results and analyzing them.Quality Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with instructional designers, trainers, and other stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance the overall quality of language training programs and assessment solutions.Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in linguistics, language teaching, education, or a related field (or equivalent work experience as described below).Proven experience in language training or curriculum development, with a focus on quality assurance and improvement.Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and methodologies.Familiarity with language assessment tools and frameworks, such as CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess quality and identify areas for improvement.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and recommendations.Proficiency in using technology tools and software relevant to language training and assessment
