Latam - Regional Tax Controversy - Analyst

**Job Details**

The Tax Analyst Mx & L.A. has overall responsibility for the tax controversy process for all entities in Mx and L.A., starting with the first communication from the authority to the end of it, manage the communication with the different teams involved in each audit and requirement, and the communication with the BU's.
This position requires the involvement and proactivity of the analyst due to the fact that we work under an specific due date that we cannot miss, it requires a lot of organization, communication and team work.
**Main Functions**:

- Follow up with the tax controversy process stablished
- Organize the team in order to achieve all the targets stablished for the team.
- Leading the tax controversy process on each item.
**Qualifications and Professional Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration or similar with tax experience at least 4 years
- Analytical Capacity and multi-tasking ability
- Experience on SAP, Oracle, Mapics, etc.
(ERP) is a plus
- Flexible and work under pressure
- Experience on how to answer to Tax Authorities audits and requirements
- Experience on different requests from IRS (Favorable Balances, managing the tax portal).
- Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a requirement for admission, permanence or promotion.
