Launch Engineer**Job Overview**:The Launch Engineer is responsible for new product launches. This person coordinates with Production, Quality, Engineering and Program Management, to acheive a flawless launch. Partnering with operations, plant leaders and other functional leaders, to lead all operational activities of program Launch. This includes new program launches, major model change events in existing plants, and plant turn around activities. Manages project planning, overseaing all resources and activities to support the various forms of program launches. Develop and hold accountable assignments and deliverables of employees and outside resources. Adjust program plans as needed, and escalate issues as necessary. Keep Program Management and Plant Management updated regarding risk, progress, issues and/or corrective actions. Support the APQP process, and partner with the Quality team to drive PPAP activities. This is a highly visibility role, requiring a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, able to adapt and learn quickly.**Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities**:- Coordinate launch support meetings (when, who needs to attend) and coordinate tracking of final hand off.- Single point of contact for Operations with Product Engineering, Program Management, Launch Team, Plant Team, and Supplier Quality- Establish communication link between the plant operations team and program management and manufacturing.- Ensure new product documentation, including set-up sheets and work instructions are linked with operations.- Lead and participate in various cross-functional Program and Manufacturing Readiness forums- Provide clear updates on status and recovery plans, at both working and executive level- Create, manage and maintain build plans and chairing meetings, to achieve both internal and exteranla customer satisfaction.- Plan, organize, and orchestrate all pre-launch build activities- Develop production ramp up plan with operations teams.**Required Education/Skills/Experience**:- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA is preferred- (5-7) years of experience in Automotive Program Management- Proficient with MS Office, Project- 100% Customer Focused, driving value and solutions that further IAC goals and objectives- Strong influential skills that leverage genuine engagement with cross functional teams to implement strategies and solutionsLocation: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León
