Launch Materials Planner

Ensure the supply of purchased components and raw material to meet all launch events in a timely manner, minimizing the cost in inventory and freight.
Skills: Organization, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal skills
Activities: Set up the part numbers in the company's systems, ensuring their existence in the MRP, and setting up planning and purchase order parameters to ensure the correct material amount systematically.Update the supplier contact information database as necessary to provide necessary information to program management and/or purchasing teams for initial contact with new suppliers.Notify risks associated with raw material supply promptly to mitigate shortages during launch events.Set up new supplier routes and update current ones when needed to update the PFEP for determining shipping frequency and transport mode.Perform BOM revisions to ensure the most updated revision level in all part numbers.Ensure the correct transfer of part numbers to the Material planner once the launch process is complete.Requirements: 3 years of experience in the automotive industry/material planningQAD ERP knowledge is a plusAdvanced EnglishAbility to travel within MX and US. Valid passport and visa.
