Learn more at www.Visteon.ComSupply Chain & LogisticsThe RoleThe Sr. Buyer is responsible to manage all requests related to Logistics (warehouse services, custom, services, packaging, etc.) and Freight needs for the region of Americas, including the plants in Manaus, Chihuahua and Reynosa. This position is expected to work successfully with different stakeholders from different areas, understand their needs, manage market tenders and BIDs, perform price negotiations and propose most optimal solutions to the request on a timely manner.Bachelor's degree is required, plus +5 years experience in manufacturing environment preferably in supply chain related fields (needs a good understanding of supply chain). Team work oriented, proactive, high communication skills (verbal and written), high negotiation skills, good capacity of analysis, problem solver, solution finder, well organized. Must be 100% bilingual (English) + Portuguese is highly preferred
