.This role is responsible for the posting of incoming payments from customers, bill/issue the pay receipt (REP) to comply with Mexico government regulation, while also ensuring that those payments are posted accurately, efficiently and in keeping with department policies and procedures. The Senior Cash Application Clerk is also actively working to resolve unapplied funds and assist our internal and external customers with questions, requests or issues related to their accounts with CH Robinson. Cash handling is vital to operational procedures of the network so that they can continually build their relationships with our customers and increase business opportunities.**Responsibilities**:- Accurate and Efficient posting of incoming payments by ACH, Wire and Check- Timely communication both internally and externally- Work to resolve issues related to Cash Application- Processing of adjustments related to cash posting discrepancies- Assist with the onboarding of new systems and/or acquisitions- Mentor and provide support to Cash Application team members as needed- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to improve current processes- Play an active role in developing process improvement with incoming payments- Timely resolution of unapplied funds, customer requests and internal requestsTimely Issuing and internal customer delivery of Mexico pay receipt (REP).- Other duties as assigned.**Required Qualifications**:- Bachelor's or graduate degree- English/Spanish fluent- 3 yrs of professional experience in Accounts Receivable of Cash Application- Excel Advanced**Preferred Qualifications**:- Enjoys working in a team environment- General knowledge of various banking transactions (ACH, Wire Transfer, Check, Credit Card etc.)- Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to the details- Is very organized and able to handle multiple priorities in a continuous improvement environment- Is self-motivated and adapts to changeProvides great service to internal and external customers by making a determined effort to resolve problems and keep them from happening- Positive, professional attitude, and excellent customer service skill- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment- Performs functions efficiently and accurately with little direction or supervision**Benefits**We offer a competitive benefits plan above the Mexican Labor Law.
