.What You'll DoThe Lead Cloud Engineer will be a strategic and hands-on technical leader responsible for overseeing our cloud environments' architecture, deployment, and management on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms. This role demands a forward-thinking individual with a profound understanding of cloud technologies, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proven successful project management track record.Lead a team of skilled cloud engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, development, and security, to implement automated deployment pipelines, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.Establish and execute cloud strategies aligned with business goals, optimizing resource utilization and cost-efficiency while maintaining industry-leading performance levels.Oversee the selection and implementation of appropriate tools and technologies, including infrastructure as code (IaC) frameworks, containerization, and orchestration tools.Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud resources to identify performance enhancement and cost reduction opportunities proactively.Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues, providing guidance and solutions to the team and other stakeholders.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering their growth and development within the organization.Who You'll Work WithAs the Lead Cloud Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including SRE, Product Engineering, DevOps, Program Management Office, Governance, Cloud Service Delivery, and Service Experience Managers.Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the successful delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing support of cloud-based systems.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master's preferred).Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions.Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with a strong grasp of their respective services, architecture, and capabilities.Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates, and experience with version control systems.Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.Strong command of networking concepts and security best practices for cloud environments.Strong proficiency in Linux.Proven hands-on experience in RDBMS systems, including Vantage Cloud.What You Will BringExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
