Leads the implementation of WCM methodologies. Includes thefollowing: Assesses performance needs. Selects the appropriate change management tools.Plans the approach (training, project or Kaizen Blitz methodology) and assists in implementingand monitoring the specific change programs to ensure the performance needs are properlyaddressed. Collaborates with senior engineers to design cost-effective manufacturing layoutsand building ergonomics for new product lines. Designs, redesigns, or enhances work areas andlayouts. Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, and trends anddevelopments in technology and equipment; applies this knowledge to maintain theorganizations competitive edge. Create, control and monitor capacity models that involve floorspace, machine and people availabilities and standards. Besides industry-specific knowledge,the person able to design Manufacturing layouts based on product process, material flow withconfederation of Material consumptions and associated process cycle times.Develops and maintains management information, planning, and control systems.
