.Location:- Mexico, Veracruz-- Employment type:- Permanent**Job Title**:Lead Finance Analyst**Location**:Veracruz, Mexico**Role purpose**Finance Leader for Mexico region to execute finance activities, coordinating planning, pacing and controllership activities. Lead a small local accounting team and partner with finance members, guide the day-to-day work, build career path, and develop soft skills of junior analysts, including delegation of work and thorough reviews of the work prepared. Work effectively with business leaders to proactively drive key business initiatives and effectively analyze and report the financial impact on the business.**Job Duties and Responsibilities**Job activities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Manage and execute the annual business, financial plan and monthly forecasting including performance management and variance analysis (actual, plan, forecast).- Creation of detailed consolidated financial summaries highlighting the key performance aspects of the site.- Support financial reporting rhythms, preparing reports as requested. Identify risks and opportunities, recommending actions, and assisting in execution as needed.- Manage analytics and metric reporting for manufacturing (e.G., cost applied, utilization, capacity load, OCPH), inventory, receivables, and capex.- Lead monthly reviews with business managers to reconcile and ensure that expense budgets are managed at the appropriate levels.- Provide the methods and systems most appropriate for the non-financial areas to manage their budgets, ensure proper expense handling by department, and resolves any budget issues.- Conduct Annual Physical inventory, monitor cycle counts, reconcile variances, and stablish action plans as needed.- Ensure entity's accounting records are compliant with applicable standards, local financial laws, tax regulations and corporate finance policies.- Partner with the finance organization to prepare or oversee accounting processes or reconciliations and maintaining guidelines and policy framework ensuring accurate accounting.- Perform and coordinate month-end, quarter, and annual closing, fixing, stabilizing activities (preparing and posting MJE, running reports) to ensure recording of journal entries are meeting business deadlines and requirements.- Responsible for designing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting.- Support KPMG, Statutory and internal audits as required.- Assist, coordinate, and support as needed on any regulatory or government audits and inspections.- Collaborate with Treasury, Human Resources, and Manufacturing team members to resolve day-to-day challenges in a fast-changing environment.**Required qualifications**- Demonstrable work experience of at least five years in full time Finance roles.- Experience of at least three years in manufacturing operations in oil and gas businesses
