.Job Description Summary: Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understandingto accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.In this role, the leader will oversee the different accounting processes in NAM, acting actively on supporting other Finance areas and ensuring the accounting is flowing correctly in each process. The manager will lead the closing activities for the Sub Region.This manager will also have responsibilities for the Account Reconciliation report out and the late journal entries posting for all Americas Region.Roles and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for designing and implementing internal controls over financial reporting, including accounting policy implementations, SOX, distributed controllership, process simplification, and internal controls over IPP monitoring and risk. Serve as controllership experts on financial system and ERP implementations.Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills.
