**Job Description Summary**:
ROLE SUMMARY
GE Aviation is inventing the future of flight in Services Technology group along with teams like Services Modeling and Analytics, expert staff in the creation of performance analytics and fleet modeling support for the biggest aviation commercial product lines like LEAP, CFM56, or CF34.
We are looking for an engineer interested in becoming expert in CF34 Fleet Model Time On Wing / Costs activities, and data responsible for EGT Fleet Model processes.
As a liaison among these three Fleet Model processes, the engineer would also work strategically to support the data feed of processes such as updated EGT Times / Cycles / Gas Path model corrections, and TOW & Cost Shop Visits Classifications databases.
Engineer will also detect opportunities to standardize and lean processes that can be tackled with the creation of new processes, along with tools, dashboards, or automated reports.
The engineer will be the first and key point of contact with the stakeholders and customers, working constantly on relevant activities for the business, a role that will ensure technical growth and exposure at high management levels.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSABILITIES_**
- Full responsible (and first point of contact) of the successful execution for all engine lines (LEAP, CFM56, CF34, GENx, GE90, CF6 and GP) EGT Fleet Model Times/Cycles/Gas Path Models data engineering and processing (every step of the process).
- Work with CF34 Fleet Model team in requests related Time On Wing & Cost activities in a continuous basis.
- Work in the engine lines strategy conception and execution (Define along with the manager and experts what are the next steps and the strategy to follow, participating in key meetings and creating relationships that will benefit the site)

REQUIREMENTS_**
- BS degree plus 8 years of experience or Master's degree plus 6 years of experience or PhD degree plus 4 years of experience
- Degree must be in:
- Systems / Software / Computer Science / Physics / Engineering / Applied Mathematics / Data Science & Analytics (STEM related fields)
- Demonstrated Experience in SAS JMP / Minitab / W++ for the creation and understanding of Intermediate-Advanced Statistical Analyses
- Demonstrated experience in the use of EGT Databases architecture, construction, and query downloading through SQL codes
- Demonstrated experience in EGT Fleet Model process (Deterioration, Inits, Weibull, Shop Visit Classification, Events, and Data Visualization)
- Demonstrated experience building data driven solutions based on technical requirements
- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability in managing projects and execute strategic processes schedules
- Capable of coaching others to accomplish assignments, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- Presentation Skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership
- Demonstrated ability in establishing common goals and objectives
- Demonstrated ability in influencing and shaping team's long term vision and strategy
- Disciplined, innovative, self-driven, and that can work independently without supervision
