Our expectation is to make everyday a Perfect HSE Day with no injuries, accidents or harm to the environment.**Partner with the best**As a Lead HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for:- Driving HSE performance metrics and risk mitigation improvements across site.- Supporting all aspects of health, safety and environmental programs to maintain full compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as internal and external business requirements.- Assisting in the implementation, review and improving the HSE Management System, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.- Facilitating or lead incident investigations as well as the development of corrective and preventative actions.- Conducting regular HSE inspections to detect existing or potential hazards, determine and ensure corrective actions are completed.- Delivering HSE training in line with legal, business and company requirements.- Facilitating HSE committees and meetings.- Supporting company crisis management, emergency response team and business continuity plans in various activities.- Supporting the internal audit program on HSE management systems- Overseeing employee health programs including industrial hygiene, ergonomics, wellbeing and hearing protection- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements through monitoring and audit of the contractors.- Driving an interdependent safety culture where employees look after each other and are responsible for health, safety, and environmental practices and conditions.- Any other duties as assigned by corporate or product line HSE team.**Fuel your passion**To be successful in this role you will:- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in health and safety, environmental science, chemistry, engineering or another relevant field.- Have a Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Health and Safety, preferred in the Oil & Gas / manufacturing industry.- Be a r registered HSE professional.- Be a certified ISO 45001 / 14001 Lead auditor.- Be familiar with all HSE regulatory requirements within Mexico.- Fluent Spanish and excellent English speaking and writing.**Desired Characteristics**:The desired characteristics for this role:Ability to create a healthy interdependent safety culture and support the HSE vision for the plant.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Ability to influence others and lead small teams.Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
