Must haves: 5+ years experience in software development; BS in ComputerScience or equivalent practical experience; Significant practical experience with: 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring boot; Experience with event-driven architectures that handle high throughput data streams (Kafka, SQS/SNS); Experience with Terraform; Experience with AWS; Experience collaborating across both roles and teams to produce designs that satisfy product requirements; Understanding of measuring reliability through SLAs/SLOs and driving a culture centered on operational metrics; Great communication skills; Other team's membership mentoring; Excellent analytical and time management skills; Upper-Intermediate English. Nice to haves: Experience with Rust and/or Python; Experience with big data processing technologies such as Apache Spark; Experience with change data capture data pipelines; Experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
