Role Summary/Purpose:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Drive all process and performance activities related to GE Vernova's Contingent Workforce (CW) processes and tools to include tracking deliverables, budget, training, and communications.
- Support data management and reporting requirements involving GE Vernova's CW process and tools.
- Partner with Legal and HR to ensure compliance with CW policies and regulations.
- Measure and track service, quality, and timeliness objectives related to CW functional policy objectives.
- Support activities related to GE Vernova transition to include working with Business Units (BUs) to clarify roles and responsibilities, standardize processes and tools, and identify/drive strategic synergies across regions and Bus.
- Lead functional teams or projects with mínimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Lead or participate in business requirements gathering sessions and design workshops.
- Ensure that business and stakeholder requirements documents are accurate, complete, and signed off by client.
- Develop specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise and strong commercial awareness within this scope.
- Assist category management and business sourcing teams in end-to-end sourcing processes.
- Implement sourcing best practices (e.g., Lean standard work, daily management, system configuration/set-up, training modules).
- Uphold internal and external policies, regulations, and laws.
- Utilize an understanding of industry trends to inform the decision-making process.
- Serve as trusted advisor to multi-functional stakeholder teams to design and implement specific strategic sourcing initiatives to meet business requirements and priorities.
- Respond to client requests by staging data in test environment and performing appropriate tests to determine if ideas work and communicate results back to client along with possible alternative solutions.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in Sourcing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
- Major experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent Labor Services experience
- Experience with CW processes and tools.
- Experience implementing and managing a VMS.
- Demonstrated ability in leading organizational, process, and culture change.
Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelor's in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Strong experience in Contingent Worker processes and tools in a multi-national company
- Track record of driving step-change improvement in Sourcing or similar function
- Strong analytical skills
- Communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions.
- Anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve.
- Collaborative and problem-solving mindset
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills at all levels of the organization as well as with external organizations.
- Buyer or ERP experience and knowledge (understand PO process, invoice/pay processes, and routines)
- Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives.
- Change oriented - actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly.
