We are proud of our rich heritage, award-winning technologies, and we value the talents and contributions of all Advanced Energy's employees worldwide.Position Summary:Supervise Failure Analysis team supporting failure verification, fault isolation, and root cause analysis on customer returns, production failures, Design Engineering, and Reliability Engineering failures. Interacts with internal customers and key support groups (Customer Quality, Product/Test Engineering, Design, etc.) as needed to help perform the analysis.Responsibilities:Support Component Failure Analysis in Cavite factory, product process review, new technology and new product development, and conduct construction analysis.Enhance procedures and develop methodologies in failure analysis of field return and production failures.Generate professional and detailed FA reports to define root cause identification and meet customer requirements and cycle time targets.Provide useful feedback to help solve the cause of failure.Deliver professional and detailed failure analysis for root cause identification.Work with QA, PSG, factory, Design Engineering, and supplier to characterize and classify unknown defects and their quality exposure, severity, reliability risk, and long-term/short-term impact on product performance, yield, and internal and external customers.Conduct visits to suppliers if necessary and to customers about the root cause analysis and validate quality improvement actions based on Failure Analysis results.Close coordination with suppliers to resolve problems related to application and develop applicable reliability test methods on new types or technologies of components.Participate in problem-solving and investigation to provide solutions to potential problems at an early stage of production to generate corrective and preventive actions.Work with Operations and Process Quality team to drive continuous product quality improvements, track RMA findings, and correlate to known problems from production lines and field returns.Establish knowledge base for Lessons Learnt.Qualifications:BS in any Engineering courses, preferably Material Science Engineering or Chemical Engineering.3-5 years experience in semiconductor Failure Analysis.Knowledge and experience of semiconductor process and assembly.Hands-on lab experience using lab test equipment (oscilloscope, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer), IR thermal, SEM-EDX equipment.Proficient with MS Office, particularly with MS Excel software.Ability to successfully develop and present reports/presentations
