**Lead Product Engineer **for operations in Central Offices Structures (Saltillo, Coahuila)
Lear Corporation is number 70 on the list of 500 Most Important Companies in Mexico 2020 according to Expansion Magazine Components that are manufactured in our country include: structures and mechanisms for seats, trim, foam, leather, harnesses and automotive electronics, these components are consumed by the Automotive industry of Mexico, USA and Canada.
As a **Lead Product Engineer **you will be responsible for Lead and manage all technical aspects of our products for specified customers. This includes having a complete understanding of all product specifications and manufacturability, working with the technical teams (Corporate), meeting and building relationships with global contacts for engineering and advanced manufacturing as well structures plants. Strong collaboration with the operations teams is required.
YOUR TASK WILL BE
- On site root cause analysis of issues
- NA & structures plants engineering interface
- Product KPCs review
- On location engineering analysis "root cause"
- Communicate requirements
- Support and analyze product verification testing
- Analyze product variation to design and requirements
- Drawing's interpretation
- Root cause analysis (tear down, dimensional analysis, etc).
- Plant process walks
- Coordinate control cycle for engineering permits
- Coordinate engineering issues resolution with structures plants
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLL YOU WILL NEED
- BSME, technical degree or equivalent automotive, seating or mechanisms related experience
- Leadership, communication skills to upper & lower levels of organization, teamwork, strong customer or suppliers interface, ability to travel within region, ability to work in a highly prodcutive, constantly changing environment
- + 5 years experience
- "Multilingual - English and Spanish
- GD&Ts medium / advanced level
- Working knowledge of CAD (one visualizer)
- Working knowledge of engineering tools such as FMEA, root cause analysis
- Knowledge of productive processes such as MIG welding, RW, Projection welding), cold staking / orbital forming, assembly process ".
