You will: Work with product and key stakeholders to set desired product roadmapsDrive critical improvements to stay ahead of the growing business needsEvaluate new technologies and delivery practicesDrive accurate and efficient project estimatesCreate project plans, identify dependencies and risks, and allocate resourcesStay up to date on the latest security threats and secure application design and coding practicesLead the design, craftsmanship, availability, resilience, security and scalability of your solutionsFoster a culture to stay on top of technology trends and participate in technology communitiesEncourage innovation, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversityLead and mentor a team of software developersPrepare and present technical presentations and project statusBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience in software developmentAt least 2 years experience in agile practices and project managementStrong understanding of service oriented/micro-services architectureAt least 8 years of experience in .NET development At least 5 years of experience with one or more RDBMS systems (SQL Server, Oracle )At least 3 years of experience creating and consuming Rest based APIsAt least 2 years of experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in the cloudReal-time processing and high volume service development experienceExperience developing and managing cloud solutionsPreferred Qualifications: Experience with Google Cloud and GKE is a big plusExperience with distributed DB solutions like CockroachDB, Cloud Spanner or Postgres is a big plusPrevious experience with GRPC APIsPayments industry experience Global Payments Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
