Join our KB Rail Mexico team in our next steps.JOB DESCRIPTION:Position Summary:Ensure proper compliance with Mexican customs regulations, as well as compliance with the different programs in which the company participates and lead security in the supply chain through certification programs such as C-TPAT and OEA.The Trade Compliance Lead will act as a subject matter expert for US/Mexico border logistics.This position requires 8-10 years of Mexican import/export experience, including Maquiladora Operations, and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Customs Representative or Legal Representative. Trade Compliance Lead will ensure that KB Rail de Mexico has implemented effective internal controls through procedures, work instructions, process flows and documented training.Trade Compliance Lead will have the independent authority to enquire into any aspect of a proposed export or import, verify its legality and the accuracy of the information to be submitted, and stop any transaction.Essential Functions:This position is considered critical for the purposes of asset security and/or custody of the value chain.Customs RepresentativeAnalyze and interpret import and export regulations and communicate updates to the appropriate departments, teams and/or individuals.Represent the Company before the Foreign Trade authorities in Mexico & Tariff Classification.Tariff classification of goods in Mexican and U.S. tariffs.Single window procedures for customs permits and regulations.Provide support to KBRM Services and KBRM Distributor companies when necessary.Support in the implementation, monitoring and auditing of the CTPAT/OEA/Foreign Trade CertificationSupport for Annex 24/31Carry out all activities that are required by the nature of the position.Review/processing of Imports of Machinery, Equipment and Tools.Support in the electronic control of machinery and equipment inventory.Review/preparation of Tax Payment Imports.Support / Keep up to date with the control and obligations of the VAT/IEPS Certification.Control of Electronic Payments by Customs Account.Support in the development and improvement of processes of the IMMEX program, OEA Certifications. CTPAT, VAT-IEPS, PROSEC, etc
