Key Deliverables- Assist in the preparation of financial statements to ensure accurate expenditure data is available for the US/Mexico business as required.- Prepare and provide financial information for internal/external audits, ensuring information is accurate and timely- Support all SOX financial control activities and testing as the primary contact for internal and external audit- Review monthly account reconciliations in a timely manner to ensure internal control policies are being followed.- Perform account analysis and other projects as requested by manager.- Identify, initiate and develop system changes with information technology to improve the availability of financial information, minimizing disruption during implementation and creating efficiencies.- Ensure Desk Top Procedures (DTP's) are written and current for all job functions and that they comply with internal control policies.- Conduct process reviews to identify improvements to enhance the quality of financial reporting. Lead the implementation of improvements identified through this process- Interact with and support team members. Participate in group problem solving and team activities.- Clearly identify internal customers and internal functions to ensure customer satisfaction both at SSC and business units.Qualification Requirements:- 2 to 3 years of significant experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting or auditing within a multinational environment.- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.- Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and articulate business issues as they relate to financial data.- Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels within the organization as well as to external customers and vendors.- Proven proficiency in the use of Windows software programs (i.E., Excel, Access, etc.).- Experience with SAP and Cadency.Desired behaviors & experiences:- Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions and make and support decisions to resolve problems and take advantage of opportunities.- Demonstrated initiative and use of functional knowledge of business and markets to execute goals.- Finds improvement opportunities and delivers them.- Embraces changes and is open to new ideas and approaches.- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlinesRelocation Available:No
