Key Deliverables
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements to ensure accurate expenditure data is available for the US/Mexico business as required.
- Prepare and provide financial information for internal/external audits, ensuring information is accurate and timely
- Support all SOX financial control activities and testing as the primary contact for internal and external audit
- Review monthly account reconciliations in a timely manner to ensure internal control policies are being followed.
- Perform account analysis and other projects as requested by manager.
- Identify, initiate and develop system changes with information technology to improve the availability of financial information, minimizing disruption during implementation and creating efficiencies.
- Ensure Desk Top Procedures (DTP's) are written and current for all job functions and that they comply with internal control policies.
- Conduct process reviews to identify improvements to enhance the quality of financial reporting.
Lead the implementation of improvements identified through this process
- Interact with and support team members.
Participate in group problem solving and team activities.
- Clearly identify internal customers and internal functions to ensure customer satisfaction both at SSC and business units.
Qualification Requirements:

- 2 to 3 years of significant experience in financial analysis, reporting, accounting or auditing within a multinational environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and articulate business issues as they relate to financial data.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels within the organization as well as to external customers and vendors.
- Proven proficiency in the use of Windows software programs (i.e., Excel, Access, etc.).
- Experience with SAP and Cadency.
