Visión general:This individual will be responsible for managing the project plans, timelines, budgets, team members, and resources while monitoring the process from concept through implementation. Design for Six Sigma and NPD Stage/Gate processes will be utilized to maximize the quality, speed, and business impact of the projects. The engineer will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Design, Logistics, and Procurement functions to ensure that optimal business solutions are implemented.**Responsabilidades**:- Identifying potential cost out or quality improvement projects- Working with Sales and Marketing to develop new product ideas into concepts- Defining critical process / product parameters and their targets.- Managing, planning, scheduling, communicating, facilitating, and reporting project related tasks.- Coordinating the work of project team members to ensure that project goals are achieved.- Identifying risks and formulating and executing abatement plans.- Breaking work down into manageable tasks required to meet project objectives and assigning and/or directing the work of others.- Leading cross-functional teams.- Reporting progress to senior management in regular Stage/Gate presentations.Requisitios:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other analytical discipline is required.- Two or more years of experience in new product or process design/development.- Two years of experience in project management.- Experience in a consumer durable goods business, metal stamping, or tooling exposure strongly preferred.- 2+ years professional experience using PTC Pro-E (Creo) 3D modeling software or similar preferred.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Must be able to travel up to 25%.- Knowledge of MS Project or equivalent project management software is preferred.
