.Lean CI Coordinator is the change agent responsible for coordinating and deploying the Vertiv operating system within an APU such as Ideas, Savings and 5s, as well as directing and strategizing to improve and achieve established KPIs, facilitating kaizen events with a multi-disciplinary team. Champion on continuous improvement and process support Partners with the local VOS Manager to develop and deploy VOS strategy. Leads change initiatives and drives process excellence.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Help leads facility Vertiv Operating Systems communications, education and trainings.- Implements site analysis including baseline of operations, financial analysis and continuous measurement and improvement.- Continuous Improvement: Implement at least 1 improvement idea monthly - that impacts Cost, Quality or Safety- Business Unit and Functional KPI's tracking and performance: Scrap, Operation Supplies, Change Over, Standard Hrs- Cost Reduction Projects- Lean / Operational System Implementation within Business Unit: Standard Work, SMED, Poke-Yoke- Root Cause Analysis, Preventive and Corrective Actions Implementation- Safety & Ergonomics: Supports (in conjunction with functional team) Job Safety Analysis evaluation to detect, correct or mitigate safety risks and exposures Training & Development: Supports Operations on the training of personnel on the manufacturing process**QUALIFICATIONS**Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of 3 plus years' experience Six Sigma / Lean certifications, strongly preferred.**Required Experience**Proven track record of operational execution.- Prior experience in leading diverse teams to achieve a common goal.- Prior experience using word processing, spreadsheet, statistical analysis, and presentation software.**Skills Required**:- Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.- Ability to work within a matrix management environment.- Work with mínimal supervision.- Ability to organize and schedule people and tasks; Use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans; manage multiple projects.- Execution orientated, with a strong sense of urgency around tangible results.- Able to demonstrate leadership without formal authority.- Strong written and oral communication / presentations skills.- Work well in a team environment, with sound negotiation and issue resolution skills.- Excellent facilitation skills.- Ability to assume a role of authority as necessary; advocate new ideas, even when risk is involved; delegate responsibilityand empower teams to make decisions; provide constructive feedback to others- Open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.- Accepting and adhering to high ethical, moral, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.- Ability to influence positive change effectively
