The Lean Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency, productivity, and quality of manufacturing processes within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing Lean Six Sigma system (LSS) to support, strategies to optimize operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to best practices in manufacturing. This role is a fundamental position within the Operational Excellence (LEAN) transformation. Demonstrates analytical smarts & creative thinking when creating plans & solving problems. Establishes & implements effective strategies & measures effectiveness. Works towards Fi's long-term success as well as for own business/function's short-term success. Sees the big picture; understands and considers customers, competitors, markets, industry, etc. when making plans and decisions. Experiência y requisitos
Coordinate continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational efficiency. Manages and coordinates CI events such as Kaizens, VSMs, and others. Drive the adoption of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies throughout FiBS operating system to eliminate non-value-added activities and enhance productivity. Provide training in lean manufacturing and sustainability to empower manufacturing teams with the skills and knowledge required to implement operational excellence practices. Implement change management strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive organizational transformation. Proven experience in continuous improvement, lean and six sigma projects. Must have outstanding communication skills and influence from anywhere in the organization, to coach and mentor. Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex data. Creative problem-solving and conflict management skills within a de-centralized and matrix organizational structure Ability to provide work direction to team members across departments. Demonstrate strengths in these skills: analysis, project management, planning and organizing. Bilingual Spanish - English Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering or similar. +5 years' experience managing people and/or project teams; Program/Project management in manufacturing environments; Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives. Proven knowledge in Lean Six Sigma tools. Teamwork, assertive communication, accountable, organized, self-directed and proactive.
