Objective Works with leadership teams to implement and train lean core tools and identify drives cost reduction opportunities within the plant; including working with the implementation of new programs.
Main Responsibilities Promotes the use of root cause problem solving, ensuring problems are identified, eliminated and results standardized using lean core tools.Performs plant assessments on current to future state for Lean/Six Sigma and action plans to close gaps using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other lean core tools.Tracks and maintains the plan improvement action items and create action plans to complete the open items to improve the performance visibility for leadership teams in metrics.Prepares lean core tool implementations and continuous improvement actions and monitors continued practice and updates the training or actions as needed to meet company goals.Drives plant in developing deployment strategy and establishing systems to maintain success.Position Requirements Bachelor Degree: Industrial Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Other Engineering in productivity environment.Advanced English.Experience in Lean Manufacturing as VSM, Kaizen events, 5S's, TPM, SMED, Standard work, Develop A3, Material flow.At Nemak, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) play a fundamental role in everything we do and are the underlying platform on which our culture is built.
