**Objective**Tracks and maintains the plan improvement action items and create action plans to complete the open items to improve the performance visibility for leadership teams in metrics.**Main Responsibilities**- Works with leadership teams to implement and train lean core tools and identify and drives cost reduction opportunities within the plant, including working with the implementation of new programs.- Promotes the use of root cause problem solving, ensuring problems are identified, eliminated and results standardized using lean core tools.- Performs plant assessments on current to future state for Lean/Six Sigma and action plans to close gaps using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other lean core tools.- Tracks and maintains the plan improvement action items and create action plans to complete the open items to improve the performance visibility for leadership teams in metrics.- Prepares lean core tool implementations and continuous improvement actions and monitors continued practice and updates the training or actions as needed to meet company goals.- Drives plant in developing deployment strategy and establishing systems to maintain success**Position Requirements**- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field- Six sigma knowledge- English advanced- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred- At Nemak, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) play a fundamental role in everything we do and are the underlying platform on which our culture is built.
