**Objective**
Responsible to lead the implementation and training of 5S, standard work, value stream mapping, Kaizen, visual management and other lean core tools and methods reducing waste and downtime in the operations.
This role will promote systematic problem solving to support cross-functional teams in continuous improvement.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Works with leadership teams to implement and train lean core tools and identify and drives cost reduction opportunities within the plant; including working with the implementation of new programs.
- Promotes the use of root cause problem solving, ensuring problems are identified, eliminated and results standardized through the use of lean core tools.
- Performs plant assessments on current to future state for Lean/Six Sigma and
action plans to close gaps through the use of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and
other lean core tools.
- Tacks and maintains the plan improvement action items and create action plans to complete the open items to improve the performance visibility for leadership teams in metrics.
- Prepares lean core tool implementations and continuous improvement actions and monitors continued practice and updates the training or actions as needed to meet company goals.
- Drives plant in developing deployment strategy and establishing systems to
maintain success
**Position Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- English Advance
- Six sigma knowledge is a plus
