**Job Description Summary**: Lead the development and deployment of a plant-wide lean culture, including Hoshin Kanri (strategy deployment), problem-solving, visual management, Lean process development, and Lean training. Work with Plant Leadership team to establish a customer-based improvement strategy, which drives safety, customer responsiveness, lead time reduction, quality improvement, and cost reductions in line with business/functional objectives.**Essential Responsibilities**- Create the Lean vision and implement a Lean strategy to reduce inventory, lead time, and waste. All this needs to be translated in a lean road map with specific AWO and kaizens thru the year that the employees will be working on.- Lead plant-wide training and deployment of practical problem-solving methodology.- Create and lead performance management reporting through Lean visual management methods to improve SQDCM.- Support early integration of Lean principles in product design & process development for New Product Introductions.- Drive measurable improvements in lead-time, customer delivery, productivity, and inventory.- Develop value stream maps and process _swim-lane_ charts to identify process improvement opportunities and make improvement through practical problem-solving.- Establish and drive a Gemba walk methodology that drives cross-functional problem- solving on the shop floor.- Lead the preparation and delivery of Lean performance management initiatives and reviews with the plant leadership team.- Coach, train and mentor site leadership on the fundamentals and principals of Lean Manufacturing & Management methods.**Minimum Qualifications****Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in lean manufacturing leadership experience) + Minimum of 3 years of lean manufacturing leadership experience.**:**Desired Qualifications**- 3 years of experience leading Lean Action Workouts or other strategic cross-functional Lean improvement activities.- 3 years of experience in practical problem-solving methodology.- Strong (Lean) performance management skills - Daily/weekly/monthly operating reviews, KPI development & management.- Strong communications and presentation skills - Meeting leadership, Microsoft PowerPoint and Teams.**Desired Characteristics**- Previous shop floor operational/leadership experience.- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.- High-Energy, independent thinker; data/fact driven decision maker.- Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn- Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively- Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed- Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborator- Problem solver, analytical minded, ability to challenge existing processes, critical mindset**Additional Information**:**Relocation Assistance Provided**:No
