**JOB DESCRIPTION**Summary:Of assembly process and material flow/presentation standards for the region on newprograms and current production, and also responsible for providing technical supportand leadership on continuous improvement projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide technical support in development and improvement of the material flow standards.- Development and analysis of future program material flow from dock to point of use.- Provide advanced programs with complete warehouse planning tools including layout, materiallabor requirements, and material routes.- Provide technical evaluation and implementation of best business practices as it relates tomaterial flow.- Maintain material flow best business practice documentation.- Provide training and technical assistance in the role out of changes to the material flow bestbusiness practices.- Provide technical support and leadership with the indirect labor motion based time standards.- Maintenance of a central database for plant layouts, key logistics, warehouse planning tool, andmanufacturing documentation.- Support key initiatives and core projects as required.- Mentor plant IEs, providing tech support & evaluation of IE documents including process books(rebalancing), layouts material labor requirements and re-balancing, and best business practicesas it applies to value add and non value add- Plant labor roadmap development and technical support on plans to decrease labor gap- Maintain and report BU roll-up roadmaps monthly- Complete CI project (1-2/year) related to tools and process currently used.- Support plants with Adient Manufacturing Systems Maturity Growth by achieving SME CertificaitonREQUIRED SKILLS:- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Engineering required - Industrial preferred- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience desired - automotive interiors experiencedesired- Working experience in a manufacturing assembly facility - Automotive Suppliermanufacturing experience desired- MODapts knowledge required - certification desired- Strong computer skills required (MS Office, AutoCAD, etc.)- Strong leadership and Interpersonal skill - ability to work in a matrix organization- Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork (verbal and documentationrequired, Spanish and English languages desired- Extensive travel and plant visits is required- Flexible work schedule and hours is requiredLI-MG1**PRIMARY LOCATION**Tech Center Saltillo
