Your Role and Responsibilities
**Responsibilities**:
Lead lease accounting projects and initiatives, such as lease abstraction and classification.
Perform complex lease transactions and entries accurately.
Conduct lease impairment testing and portfolio analysis.
Ensure compliance with lease accounting standards and regulations.
Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on lease accounting matters.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on lease-related strategic initiatives.
Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Advanced understanding of lease accounting regulations and standards.
Proficiency in lease accounting software and ERP systems.
Experience in lease abstraction, classification, and impairment testing.
Ability to lead lease accounting projects and process improvements.
Expertise in lease-related financial reporting and disclosures.
Mentoring skills to support junior staff and provide training.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on lease accounting.
In-depth knowledge of lease accounting standards and regulations.
Advanced proficiency in lease accounting software and ERP systems.
Experience in leading lease accounting projects and process improvements.
Leadership and mentoring skills.
