**THE POSITION**:
Due to growth, we're looking to fill the critical position of Resident Services Specialist (RSS)within our Resident Services team.
This position reports to the Resident Services Manager.

As an RSS, you will have a critical, customer-facing role, as the primary POC to our Residents regarding their account and our Resident Services.
While you will be cross-trained to support our Residents in a number of different ways, your main focus will be working with our internal utility billing program (EZ Bills) and performing bookkeeping / data-entry-related tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the proper bookkeeping and administration of utility bills (gas, electric, water & sewer) for all properties.
- Reconcile and analyze utility billings by doing regular reviews through reports in our software.
- Starting/Stopping/Switching utilities (gas, electric, water & sewer) as needed.
- Resolving Resident issues, especially related to utilities.
- Assessing procedures and making recommendations for improvement, then working with the Resident Services Team to implement those improvements.

Maybe you've worked in Billing, Collections, Property Management, etc.

- Knowledgeable about utilities in the US; how to manage starting/stopping service as well utility company billing practices
- Type 35+ WPM
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Min.
1 year working in billing for a US utility company (gas, electric, water, etc), or in Property Mgmt with a focus on utility management for residents.
- EXCELLENT English and tactful communication skills, written and verbal
- Prefer experience working virtually for an American company with demonstrated success in a supporting role.
**COMPENSATION**:
$5-8 per hour + bonus 20% based on performance metrics.
